Horizon Scotland, based at the Enterprise Park, Forres, is a groundbreaking £2 million innovation and business incubation centre built for the Highlands and Islands Enterprise network.

Recently listed and highly commended in the Dynamic Place design awards, Horizon Scotland has excellent environmental credentials.

Locally sourced building materials have been used in the construction of Horizon Scotland as much as possible. These include Scottish larch cladding, sandstone from a local quarry, a complete timber frame, sheep’s wool insulation and a green turf roof.  With architecturally inspired art inside and outside the building, Horizon Scotland is a groundbreaking flagship project for Colin Armstrong Associates
